L´Internationale was dedicated by the revolutionary transport worker Eugène Pottier to the Paris Commune, 1871, after it was crushed by the bourgeoisie. Music Pierre Degeyter, 1888.

​The hymn was presented in a national music competition in Shanghai. The main artist is Liu Huan. He also participated in the inauguration of the Olympics in Beijing, 2008.
